Forms of Anti-Aging Skin Care

Delaying Aging of the Skin

We live in a world where most of us are afraid to age. Unfortunately, aging is a part of life and there is no treatment to reverse it. Despite the media hype about cosmetic products, nutrition, herbs, spices and surgery, none of these can reverse or even prevent aging.

The few treatments available today at most make the skin look young for a few months and then the signs of aging catch up.

To treat premature aging skin, the best treatment is prevention. Many individuals develop premature aging and in many cases this can be delayed.

The best preventive measures to slow down aging are:

Avoid Sun: Sun exposure is one of the highest risk for premature aging of the skin. Those individuals who have been exposed to the sun since childhood will generally show deep creases and wrinkles by the 4th decade of life. Avoiding the sun early in life is the key to delaying wrinkles.

One should avoid going out during the times when the sun's UV rays are at a maximum. The time between 10 am to 3 pm should be avoided

Sunbathing: Everyone loves to sunbath. However, the tanned looking skin frequently starts to look very old by the 4th decade of life. So avoid excessive tanning and tanning booths

Sunscreens: For those who are sun lovers, wearing a sun screen is essential. There is no sunscreen which is 100% effective in blocking all the UV light. Buy a sunscreen which has both organic and inorganic compounds. These sunscreens are by far the best protective agents

Protective clothes: If one can't avoid the sun, one should wear adequate clothes to cover the face, neck and arms. Today, there are clothing made from special fabrics which can reflect back the UV light rays

Wear a hat

Stop smoking: Next to the sun, smoking is another common cause of premature aging. Most smokers develop deep creases and wrinkles in their prime. These wrinkles and creases are irreversible.

Moisturizers: For those who are constantly exposed to a dry environment, use a moisturizer. Dryness can rapidly destroy the lower skin tissues and cause sagging and wrinkle formation

These simple home remedies are much more effective than any other treatments available in delaying the signs of aged skin .

Forms of Anti-Aging Skin Care

Look younger practicing different forms of anti-aging skin care

Author: Aakash Shah

The most important thing that a woman in the 20s should use for anti aging is sunscreen. This is because the damage that the sun causes to your skin in your 20s will show up later in life in the form of wrinkles and age spots. Use a good cleanser and eye cream in your daily routine to prevent aging while if you frequently stay up late, use a concealer to disguise dark circles.

It is never too late to start using sunscreen. So if you have not started the habit of using sunscreen, you could start in the 40s too. Redness can be covered, and skin tone evened out with the help of foundation while eyeliner and mascara helps in adding definition to your eyes. If your hair has grayed, you could try out different hair colors as highlights or all over color to brighten your face.

You can gracefully age into the 60s by lightening, and not darkening your hair color. It is preferable to use a haircut that does not need a curler to look younger at this age. Whatever skincare and makeup formula that you use at this age has to be rich and creamy. This is to ensure that they glide over wrinkles, and not settle in them. Once you use cream that blends easily into skin, you find that it gives a fresh glow to the skin.

So it can be seen that the different stages of life need different types of anti-aging skin care, using different anti-aging skin care products. Start at a young age, to look younger for a longer time.
