(NC)-Ever wonder what you would look like without laugh lines or frown lines? What about voluptuous lips? Non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as facial fillers are rapidly rising in popularity and becoming more mainstream. However, questions still remain - how will the results look? Will I look natural?

Allergan Canada, the makers of Juvéderm facial filler, has launched an innovative on-line service that allows Canadians to experience a virtual cosmetic enhancement make-over with the click of a mouse.

The Juvéderm Revitalizer allows consumers to visualize what they could look like after treatment with Juvéderm facial filler. Consumers simply upload a photo of their face onto www.juvederm.ca and click on the many treatment area options to see what they would look like after a virtual makeover. For instance, they can see what they will look like with softened smile lines or plumped lips.

"This is a great tool for patients and physicians alike," says Dr. Fred Weksberg, Toronto Cosmetic Dermatologist. "Physicians can only do so much to describe what the result of facial fillers will look like. This is an easy way for people who are considering treatments to actually see what they can look like, without even leaving their homes."

The Juvéderm Revitalizer is based on ModiFace technology Inc., created by Dr. Parham Aarabi, the head of the University of Toronto's Artificial Perception Laboratory. ModiFace Inc., a Canadian innovation, is the result of over a decade of research in computer vision, face detection, and automatic face analysis.
